NEW STRUCTURE FOR GIVING
|

|
The
To attain the goal of building the EDF to a value of 5 million
Dollars of more by the General Conference of 2004, the entire
leadership of the Fifth Episcopal District, both ministerial
and lay alike must become committed to the task of individual
and collaborative support and participation. In addition
to the EDF "Traditional Level Developer," three
new levels of participation have been added to the fund program:

THE PLATINUM LEVEL DEVELOPER:
Makes a $1000.00 Annual Contribution to EDF.Each "Platinum
Level Developer" will be recognized at the Founder's
Day Celebration in his/her Annual
Conference. Additionally, Platinum Level Developers will be
presented a beautifully crafted Platinum Certificate of
participation by our Bishop at the following Mid-Year
Meeting of the Fifth District. He/she will be
listed in a special Honor Roll section of the EDF
Annual Report and will have their picture and a brief
biography listed in the Fifth District's Web Site
for one year.

THE GOLD LEVEL DEVELOPER:
Makes a $500.00 Annual Contribution to EDF.
Each "Gold Level Developer" will
be recognized at the Founder's Day Celebration
in his/her Annual Conference. Additionally,
each "Gold Level Developer" will
be presented a beautiful Gold Certificate
of Participation by our Bishop at the following
Annual Conference Session and will have their name
listed on a special Honor Roll section of the EDF
Annual Report.

THE SILVER LEVEL DEVELOPER:
Makes a $100.00 Annual Contribution to EDF.
Each "Silver Level Developer" will
be recognized at the next session of his/her
Quarterly Conference and presented a special
" Silver Level Certificate by the Presiding
Elder. Additionally, each "Silver Level Developer"
will have their name listed on a special Honor
Roll section of the EDF Annual Report.

TRADITIONAL EDF DEVELOPER:
Makes a $36.00 Annual Contribution to EDF.
Each "Traditional Level Developer" will
be recognized and presented an EDF "Traditional
Level Certificate" by their local pastor.

CONGREGATIONAL RECOGNITION
|

|
The
Each Annual Conference will recognize three of its congregations
that have demonstrated exemplary Developer Participation noted
in the total amount raised for the fund. These recognitions
will be made at the Founder's Day celebration of the respective
Annual Conferences in the following three categories:

Larger Level Congregations (Over 700 Members)
-
Medium Level Congregations (200 - 700 Members)
-
Smaller Level Congregations (10 - 199 Members)

FIFTH EPISCOPAL DISTRICT RECOGNITION
|

|
The Fifth Episcopal District will recognize
four of its congregations that have demonstrated
exemplary Developer Participation noted in the
total amount raised for the fund. These recognitions
will be made at the Mid-year Meeting following Founder's Day.
Our Bishop will present a trophy to recognize three
congregations across the Fifth District in the
following categories:

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE EDF, INC.
|
| |
|
Every member of each local congregation is encouraged
to contact their pastor or the Local Church Accountant.
Complete a simple Fund Registration Form or use the
method in place at the local church and begin to make
regular contributions based on the level of participation the
member wishes to participate (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Traditional).
Contributions made in one payment are welcome.
